Get Out and Enjoy Springtime Festivities
2010 Annunciation Norfolk Greek Festival, an annual event held under one of Hampton Roads' biggest tents on the grounds of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Norfolk, begins Thursday, May 13 and runs through Sunday, May 16.
Tidewater's oldest
and largest ethnic festival, will include traditional Greek cuisine,
exciting entertainment, arts and crafts, beautiful jewelry, a cooking
school and the very popular drive-thru.
Admission and parking are free and open to the public.
The Chesapeake Jubilee
will celebrate its 28th anniversary from May 20 to 23, 2010 at
Chesapeake's City Park on Greenbrier Parkway. The event features
world-famous musical artists, the largest 4-H show and sale in
Virginia, Zambelli Fireworks, rides, games, attractions, arts and
crafts, Kiwanis Club Shrimp Feast and a Virginia State Championship
Kansas City Barbecue Society Cook-Off. Admission is $2, with children 5
and younger admitted free, and onsite parking is available for $5.
