Take your date to Boyd Orchards for a day of fall fun. This October the orchards will celebrate Ole Cider Days Fest, Fall Festival, Pumpkin Festival, October Fest and Harvest Festival.

Date Night Goes Country

Make it a big night out on Friday, Sept. 10 at Rupp Arena. Direct from Country Music's Hall of Fame George Strait in the Round with Country Music's biggest all-time female hitmaker Reba McEntire plus special guest Lee Ann Womack. The show starts at 7 p.m., and ticket prices range from $79.50 to $89.50.

If you'd rather have a relaxing afternoon out on the town this weekend, then take part in a Bleu Plate Culinary Tour, a walking culinary adventure that provides a tasteful tour exploring the city and its food. With stops at local restaurants, you'll savor the dishes that make them Lexington's most popular eateries. Tickets are $43 and advance purchase is required. The tour is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
