A beloved summer tradition of theatre under the stars, SummerFest 2010 at the Arboretum is where Lexington and Central Kentuckians gather each July. Come and enjoy "The Merchant of Venice" from July 7 to 11, "Pride and Prejudice" from July 14 to 18 and "RENT" from July 21 to 25. Gates open at 7 p.m. and performances begin at 8:45 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Take in the sounds of summer with the Big Band & Jazz Concert Series at 7 p.m. every Tuesday, now through August 31. Big Band & Jazz is one of Lexington's longest running and most beloved concert series. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating and pack a picnic dinner while you enjoy this free event.
