Beer lovers mark your calendars: More than 100 varieties of craft beer will be available for sampling, from hoppy American Pale Ales to spicy Belgian Beers, to rich, dark stouts at the second annual Bluegrass Craft Beer Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday May 8. Enjoy delectable food from Bayou Bluegrass Catering, and blues music from G Busy and the Blues Review. Tickets are $28 in advance and $35 at the door.  

 

Take advantage of the Farmer's Market, now open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through November in Cheapside Park. Bring home your locally grown produce, and invite a few friends over for dinner. The adults can relax on the back deck while your BabysitEase sitter takes care of the rest.
