Take advantage of Ballet Under the Stars. In its 21st year, this production gives you the opportunity to enjoy the performances of professional dancers from the Kentucky Ballet and the Lexington Ballet Company in the relaxed, casual setting of Woodland Park. From Thursday, Aug. 5 to Sunday, Aug. 8, the evenings begin at 8 p.m. with a pre-show production of Beauty and the Beast performed by local youth dancers, followed by the main performance at 9 p.m. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner, or purchase concessions available on-site. Admission is $5 per person.

Watch an Outdoor Play

A beloved summer tradition of theatre under the stars, SummerFest 2010 at the Arboretum is where Lexington and Central Kentuckians gather each July. Come and enjoy "The Merchant of Venice" from July 7 to 11, "Pride and Prejudice" from July 14 to 18 and "RENT" from July 21 to 25.
