BabysitEase has an opportunity for you to serve the Greater Cincinnati community alongside your family and fellow BabysitEase customers and sitters. The BabysitEase family will be working in a community garden just a few blocks from Findlay Market in Over The Rhine on Saturday, May 16. (BabysitEase owner, Peggy Murriner, and son Peter are pictured shopping at Findlay Market.) The BabysitEase garden is just one of many volunteer efforts happening as part of the GO Cincinnati movement.

Each year, an army of volunteers impact Cincinnati through various service projects in a one-day, citywide blitz of compassion. Area churches come together to love on hundreds of community-based organizations throughout the city.  While signups have closed feel free to drop by and visit with us at 49 East McMicken.

Meet BabysitEase Team and Go Shopping

Join Us for a Meet & Greet at The Spotted Goose

From 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at The Spotted Goose, downtown Oakley, BabysitEase President Peggy Murriner and business associate Laura Kremer will meet and greet BabysitEase customers, enjoying wine and light appetizers. BabysitEase Policy Reminder

Sitters Expected to Call Ahead 

 

Sitters need to contact the parents of children they will be watching 24-48 hours before the scheduled sit in order to confirm the start time, receive special instructions and get specific directions. Parents should make sure the contact information listed on their profile is up to date.

It's true! From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Venus Fitness For Her, 7795 Cooper Rd. in Montgomery, stop in for free massages, zumba, yoga and refreshments. It's a fitness studio just for women, so check it out and allow yourself to be pampered at no charge!

Due to popular demand, BabysitEase is offering another Lunch & Learn. Join the BabysitEase team for drinks and sandwiches from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the Murriner home, 77 Lumley Ave., Fort Thomas, KY. Policy Reminder and Update

• When sits are scheduled with BabysitEase, parents are responsible for paying the sitter for the duration of the scheduled sit. If parents return home early, they are still responsible for payment of the originally scheduled sit in its entirety.
• If parents plan to stay out later than the scheduled sit time, they need to discuss this with the sitter before the sit begins. A $25 charge will apply if parents arrive home more than 30 minutes late. Please pay this fee to the sitter upon returning home.

Calling All Runners & Walkers!........Kids Included!

This coming Saturday, August 4th BabysitEase is supporting The Lady Distance Classic, a women's only run and walk.  Bring the kids & they can participate in the Lil’ Bug Kids Fun Run & 1 Miler. 

After you have gotten in your workout you can head over to the family festival & get a bite to eat from Starbucks, Outback Steakhouse, Servatii’s, QDoba & more!  You can also play games with the kids, play at the petting zoo, face painting, balloon art and lots more!!

We'll have a booth at the family festival that immediately follows the races with information about BabysitEase.  There will also be free health assessments, injury screenings, and an opportunity to win great prizes!

Stop by & meet Peggy Murriner at the BabysitEase booth and get a coupon for a free scheduling fee!  We were able to meet up with several families at the Charity Softball Game & love to meet our families!  Be sure to stop by & introduce yourselves.

Welcoming a New Face!

We have some changes coming up this fall including a new baby for Peggy Murriner & her husband at the end of September.  To get ready for a maternity leave & keep your service moving smoothly along without any bumps we are growing!

You may talk with a new addition starting this week.  Jennifer Cheek is joinning BabysitEase behind the scenes and will also be working with our families and sitters.  She comes to us after several years in the media buying industry and after spending some time at home raising her children Erin, 5 years old, and Brian, 2 years old. 

Jennifer has been married to Kurt for 12 years and is originally from the West side of Cincinnati.  The Cheeks now live in Hebron, KY where they moved after spending a few years in Virginia.  She is still active freelancing in the field of media buying, frequently volunteers in her daughter's classroom, and enjoys fostering a talent in amateur photography.  We are excited to have her join the team and look forward to her serving Cincinnati with us!

We are constantly working to improve our service and your experience with BabysitEase.  Our most recent update includes adding pages for Frequently Asked Questions.

Once you have logged into your profile or clicked off of the home page there is now a menu item (sixth button down) on the left hand side for you to find answers to the questions we are asked the most. 

This can help save you time and maybe even a phone call!  We also hope this helps to answer your friends' questions when you tell them about BabysitEase.

Important BabysitEase News!

We may still have a few weeks of winter left upon us, but it isn't too early to begin thinking about your spring break and summer sitting needs.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you will have needs to be filled for Spring Break or Summer child care.  Placements will begin in April.

Many of Cincinnati BabysitEase customers utilize our sitters for day-time childcare.  To help with this growing trend, we are currently developing a Part-Time Nanncy Service for our customers.  This service would include different policies and pricing from our regular babysitting services.  There would be a one-time $500 placement fee & you would negotiate pay rate, expectations, and time commitments with the sitter directly.  Keep your eyes peeled for website updates on this exciting new service!  If you have questions beforehand, give us a call!
