- The weeks leading up to the first school week begin adjusting bed times and wake-up to simulate a regular school week
- Begin to limit video game and TV viewing to more closely simulate the time available after school, homework, and dinner
- Prepare a small writing or reading assignment or craft to start getting your child back into a structured learning rythem
