My mom has come to stay for a month to get the sweet babes sleeping through the night and friends are dropping off dinner and restaurant gift certificates, so we'll be able to eat without having to cook for the next month. We are so blessed! My c-section went as well as can be expected. Elizabeth Quinn arrived at 8:18 a.m. Monday, March 15 weighing 6 lbs., followed quickly by Lydia Grace at 8:19, 6 lbs., 4 oz. They look like sisters but aren't identical. They are eating and sleeping well. I just can't wait for them to be sleeping through the night. It's too much to ask for them to start that now...say next week or so?
Peter has welcomed them into our home and hasn't had any jealousy toward the babies. He's very interested in them in 15 second intervals and not much longer. He's kind and helpful, but he's still 2 1/2--good for bringing over diapers, not changing them.
Thanks to everyone who has sent cards, prayers and gifts! It's been so very kind.
